  • Math tells chemists the amount of reactant to be added to get the desired amount of product.

  • Math tells biologists the right amount and proportion of liquids to mix in order to have desired effects on the body.

  • Math tells astronomers the distance between the Earth and Mars or how much fuel would be needed to travel to the Moon.
